We set rigid standards of freshness for our own suppliers. For example, our product from the East Coast arrives in our coolers within 24 hours after it is caught or harvested from the ocean!
In October 2020, we committed to an even higher standard of efficiency and freshness when we acquired Alber Seafoods. Their ports, relationships, and expertise have bolstered our ability to distribute the freshest seafood locally to the San Francisco Market, throughout the nation, and worldwide.
We are now one of the largest shellfish and locally caught groundfish distributors in San Francisco, with ports and plants along the *west coast. Having developed partnerships with the best seafood farms, fishermen, and producers in the United States, we have access to the ocean's finest, wherever it comes from. We fish locally for Northern Californian product under our own label. We also have relationships with individual fishing boats from the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska to Lobster Boats in the North Atlantic. We sell mussels from the East Coast and Puget Sound in Washington. We have Oysters from Kinsale Virginia, Bluepoint beds in Connecticut, throughout the Atlantic Coast, several varieties from Puget Sound in Washington and the Coast of Washington and Oregon. We catch wild Dungeness Crabs along the California Coast, King Salmon off the Oregon and California Coast and Groundfish along the California Coast.
